Simeis 147 - The Spaghetti Nebula

I always been fascinated of what technical knowledge and passion permits to produce when you put your heart to it. As the world turns, an over 30 hours exposure can just reveals what the eye is unable to perceive.  Very large in the deep sky but also very large is the remnant of a supernova that can only be captured with specialized narrowband filters and very long exposure times.  The apparent size of the nebula is the equivalent of 6.5 times the diameter of the moon.
